Every Single Night||Fiona Apple

If what I am is what I am, ‘cause I does what I does
Then brother, get back, cause my breast’s gonna bust open
The rib is the shell and the heart is the yolk yoke and
I just made a meal for us both to choke on
Every single night’s a fight with my brain
I just want to feel everything

So I am really freaking excited for this album. I feel like a 14-year-old all over again.

Let’s make a blog together.
Hello Friends.I hope you’re well, I am writing this in Mexico City airport, it’s nice. HUMBLE BRAG ALERT.Anyway, this is a tumble post about my blog, whatsyourdamageheather.wordpress.com. Some of you may have seen it but I imagine most of you haven’t, I haven’t updated it in about a year.  But now the time feels right to do with it what I always wanted to - create an online blog for women that represents all the awesome, wonderful (mainly) female creatures I’ve met on my travels in this crazy business called show.  Previously all of the posts were written by me or some of my brilliant writer friends.  I still want them to be involved but now I want to open it up to you guys as well.  We’re gonna start small but then gradually grow it into a massive empire that takes over the world and changes everything for the better.  Like hoverboards. This is what I will be looking for:- Fashion writing that is inclusive and funny. - Photographers and stylists from all over the world who are independent and happy to organise shoots on their own.  I can help you pull clothes, talk to designers and art direct, but the rest will be up to you!- With that in mind, designers/artists/jewelry makers and other creatives everywhere.  Either if you are one or you know of one. - Music writers.  Music journalism is a funny old game these days so we’ll work together closely to make our voice unique.  - Also, if you’re in a band, let’s talk.- Lifestyle writers.  The idea of getting people from all over the world involved is to talk about the things that affect us all. So, you know, hair. (I’m only kind of joking). This is the area of writing where I feel most comfortable and I have Big Ideas about things I would like to do.  If this is your niche send me some ideas and a ‘How To’ guide to something of your choice. Please make it funny and positive.- If you do your own comic, please email me. - Anyone interested in film/tv/books.  If this is your thing, send me your top 5 new obsessions.  - Beauty.  Hair, make up, how to hide a sunburnt nose, how to clean up makeup you’ve slept in it and haven’t got time to re-apply, how to do a home dip dye on your hair, best cheap make up brands, how to salvage your hair when you’ve killed it with straighteners, how to handle curly hair, how to look like Grimes…if any of those appeal to you, send them over. It will also be a massive help if you’re happy to take photos of yourself or a friend doing these, or if you’re confident making videos.- guides to your town or city with pictures. Best markets, venues, restaurants, shops, parks…I think that’s enough to be getting started with.  Obviously this is focussed around women, but men, you are welcome too, I don’t want to exclude anyone.   It would be great to have men writing about fashion, or how-to guides, or comics, or ‘Community’, or bands, or the best place for ice cream in Portugal.  Disclaimer: I won’t be able to pay anyone, hopefully one day I will, but right now this will be done for love.  I hope that contributors will get something out of it too, like cookies. (THERE WILL NOT BE COOKIES).  If you’re interested please email me at wydhmagazine@gmail.com, putting your area of expertise in the subject line, and attaching a sample of your writing/links to flickr etc. 500 words maximum please. My plan is to have pieces in different languages, but for the moment I need it to be all in English so I can see your writing.  I am awful and only speak one language :(I am so excited about this, I hope some of you will be too. Love, Elizabeth x

I’ve applied and I hope some of you guys do, too, because this is sure to be an awesome project!
